Hi, I’d like to ask a question about YouTube ads. Regardless of the fact that they’re annoying, I’d like to know if there is anything at all I can do to get them in English. I’m sick of the Dutch ones because they’re always the same and it’s only a reminder of the fact I live in a country I despise. I changed my language to English, my location to UK and it just won’t work. Anything I can still try?

Use a proxy (with suitable bandwidth).

That will be slightly difficult because I’m stuck with Internet Explorer 8 and have no way of using another browser. I don’t really have anything against those ads, it’s just the language that bothers me.

Would you be able to install any form of software on this computer system? Say – work/PC as opposed to home/PC?

I can install everything. Using everything is another story though: my braille display refuses to work with Chrome, and Firefox crashes when my braille software is running and Flash is needed.

Oh OK!, that’s a tough one. Hmm can you try out the program called Admuncher. Probably the best adblock program I have ever used, there could be better alternatives but I have yet to find one. I don’t use Youtube/IE that often, so I can’t really comment on how effective admuncher sniffs and blocks ads on there(site/program), but for everything else, it works just fine for me. So I’m assuming it will do the trick (though I could be wrong). Feel free to try out the program (30 day trial). Hope it helps (fingers crossed)

I found a great admuncher torrent, positive comments but AVG is warning me it contains a trojan…

Before you jump on that, did it work (trial option)?

Yeah, it did. Just found another safer crack and it seems to be all right now! Thanks!
