Aaargh!

I am having trouble in the Publicity for the two companies in the Calm Lands. I talk to people and i keep choosing the wrong one saying they are completley put off. Can some one please help me?

Also does anyone know if i need to get at least 400+ points or get the Sl level to 5 to get episode complete there?

I look to see which is right but i have no clue.

Partially true. You need to get about 70% of all the people you can publicize to have the 5 point reaction, else you’ll never get the 400.

You can actually get well over 400 points before chapter 5, but the rewards/merge/etc won’t happen till you actually are in chapter 5.

Not true either, on either count. Because you can always earn publicity points by playing the games.

Ah totally true, I forgot about that. But Playing the games is actually more tedious then talking to people. =)

Well, that’s sorta true. But in New Game Plus, if you have tons of gil, it’s actually faster to just do it with the games. The smart player would try to get at least 400 points for both companies — that unlocks the full list of the best prizes.

In any case, the point stands. You can never screw yourself out of this Episode Complete, it simply isn’t possible. That’s actually true for a lot of the Episode Completes. Mushroom Rock Road and Thunder Plains are also both ironclad. And though it’s possible to get Episode Concluded for Luca, you have to really screw around in order for it to happen.

Are you sure? The only reason I’m doubting is is because gamefaqs warned about being screwed out of the Publicity "Episode Complete". Does it not get the same percentage if you do it in the last minute, maybe?

I’m the same guy that said in an earlier topic that I’ve done it twice and it’s not as difficult as people make it out to be.

I dunno. In any case, why should anyone give a damn whether or not it screws with their percentage. I think we’ve already established that there’s nothing wrong with waiting until 5 to complete it as long as you’re just after the Episode Complete, which is all that really matters.
