How come this site is allowed to host the Final Fantasy Piano Collections sheet music, but not mp3s?

Doesn’t Square Enix care about it’s sheet music?

apparently not !

when they contacted me, they were quite specific in asking me to remove things. for example, they didn’t even mention older front mission stuff.

🙁 I am very disappointed with Square Enix.

sheet music isn’t as important as the music itself, it’s like they’re telling you to just make rhe music youreslf or buy the album, but thats just me putting in my 2 sents

True, but once people hear some of the classics, they want to play it for themselves! That’s where the sheet music comes in and thats why final fantasy’s piano collections are oh so very popular on the net.

Sheet music can be copied to cubase using midi keyboard or the draw function on the software itself. From there people can use different synths and sounds to re-create the compositions themselves witch is also called "Re-Mixing" then they can create a composition that they made and use it at there own lesiure, it is also a lot more rewarding to do that, because you know then that you have done something which you are proud of. That is why piano music sheets are so popular.

I don’t think Square Enix would care too much about sheet music because they are not directly published by Square Enix and the official sheet music scores are usually licensed, printed and arranged by outside collaborators.

But they should care for it!!! Because in the world of sheet music, the ff piano collections are very highly regarded because of their sheer brilliance.

And another thing, why does Square Enix care only for Final Fantasy?

I recently saw Xenosaga soundtracks on this site, so im assuming that there are other Square soundtracks still on, but do Square care? No!

And here Square is complaining about Piracy and people stealing their soundtracks.

I think Square Enix are getting a little arrogant/ conceited (haha learnt this word today ^^)/ up them selves.

xenosaga isn’t even by square-enix. and yes we have other square-enix stuff. they really only cared about final fantasy & front mission. (parasite eve, the bouncer, etc are still up)

Xenosaga is a series of video games developed by Monolith Soft and published by Namco.

When you think about it, Square-Enix only cares about Final Fantasy because it’s their most cherished property. It gives them TONS, and I do mean TONS of bucks. So, it’s not worth it for them *at least in their terms :@ * to have FF mp3s in such easy access. Although you made a good point, we have no voice: Square has it. 😛
