a poem or two

these are poems i wrote either for an english assignment or for myself

Pointless

– Pointless is all the things in my life.
– Pointless is the ability to speak, when no one listens.
– Pointless is this little book, for it’ll never heal the wound.
– Pointless is my gift to write, if not noticed by a soul.
– Pointless is an explanation, when not taken into consideration.
– Pointless is existence; my will to live.
– Pointless is my love for you, if you can’t see or feel it.
– Pointless is the very poem you just read…..unless you can figure out my point.

Legend

For what reason is there
To deny the power of love?
Love is life
To live without love
Is no life at all
To die with love
Is a life of immortality
Die in love if you want to stay alive

Because Of You

I feel weird; suddenly confused
Not focused on anything I do
Could it be me
Or is it you?

There’s something missing deep inside
An empty space where my soul used to be
You see it when you look in my eyes
Maybe you are my remedy

I’m not in control
You’re taking over me
I feel alive again
So I don’t want to be

If this is a dream
It is shared by we
Someone else exists here now
Is that you….
Because I thought it was me

Aw.. I really likr " because of you". It reminds me of my self when i was in love with somebody, and that’t somebody really didn’t know aout my feelings. Sad.. 🙁

i’ve read that first poem before….

either you’ve stolen that poem, some one stole that poem from you or your the same person…….but i doubt that.

i like the 2nd and 3rd-they were really good.

i’m the same person actually……..

Is It Enough?

Is it really a waste
To be different, not the same
Too hard to accept
When too stubborn to believe it

Never walked within the lines
Don’t understand its point
When it makes sense, tell me
Until then, efforts are useless

Is it enough to love & breathe?
Obviously not for most of you
Is it enough to die?
I’ll find out, if you wish me to……

When will they learn that rhyming isn’t the only poetic device. NGHHH.

edit: Yes, I realise pointless didn’t rhyme. It still made me think of Avrils and Linkins.
