A Poem for Cat

This comes from the heart and i just want to say.

I’m thinking of you, all night and all day.

On the first day we met, i was such a mess.

But you made me fell calm and relieved all the stress.

We’d stay up all night, had good times and bad.

But no matter what happened, i was always glad.

To have you in my arms was the best feeling of all.

No matter how small i felt, that made me feel 20 feet tall.

You’re beautiful, intelligent and funny too.

I’d do anything in the world to be back with you.

I miss your smile, your eyes, your face and your touch.

I love you Catherine and i miss you so much.

My ex will never see it here, but she’s already seen it and it did what i intended it to do, which was bring a smile to her face. She’s goin through a rough time now and just wanted to do something nice for her.

No idea why i’m posting it here, just thought i’d do it after i saw the section had a thread posted in it, i guess.

Oh yeah, Cat is short for Catherine, just in case some weird people think it’s an actual cat.

I liked your poem.
I did almost the same as you for my ex. Her birthday was this 9 of February, and I Wrote to her a book of poems all made by me.
What we rarely say is more easy to write it down on paper. 🙂

It’s nice to see something like this in this day and age.

i wrote some poems to my ex once =/, got her back, but unfortunately it didnt cure my childness, was to afraid to tell her to move down by me and marry me(met her in college) so we broke up, when she tried to talk me into it after we broke up again, she sent em to me =/. i still keep em, and everyday i regret not havin her move here, now ive got about 10 poems on my work computer about it =/, oh well, great poem. hope things work out.
