Hi; I’d really appreciate it if anybody could tell me just who was it that performed the musical score to Cecil B. DeMille’s Ten Commandments. I know it was composed by Elmer Bernstein, but I don’t have anything else to go on: I Google’d it, but I don’t know where to begin to look. If anybody out there knows, please inform me as soon as you’re able to; thanks in advance.

The 1956 recording is credited to the Paramount Studio Orchestra, and it is highly likely (99.999999%) that they did the playing on the actual movie soundtrack. It was the norm back then for a studio to keep an "orchestra" on the payroll, said orchestra usually consisting of a few key brass/woodwind/strings/piano players, with more musicians added as needed.
