The people of Sony bought a part of the company(Square) and Nintendo hates Square because of the stuff they did with ff7.
So an new part on the GBA is out of the picture
However, unlike most rumours, there is a shred of truth in this one; at E3 in 2000, Square announced that they may be releasing FF4,5 and 6 on the GBA. Only time will tell.
Don’t hold your breath, though.
How? Easy.
Sony owns stock in Square.
Square sees they can make $$$$ by producing for Nintendo.
Square tells this to the stockholder/corporate hierarchy.
Sony sees $$$$.
Square gets the okay, they make said games, they make $$$$.
Square’s stock goes up.
Stockholders and corporate hierarchy people make $$$$.
So system loyalty, who owns stock in whom, what system is better, blah blah blah……eh, screw and piss on all that. Every company knows that the bottom line is the almighty dollar.
I know the way I put it here, it seems so brash and blunt, but that’s why these companies are in business: to make money.
And if money’s to be mad, then anything can happen. 😉
Final Fantasy I
i dont quite understand can you please explain what u mean by ff1?
anyway, i think that it could be a possability but i dought it as they’ve alreay re-released all the ff’s for other Sony consoles e.g ps, Wonderswan.
There is only 2 advantages to a Cart system.
1. They are more sturdy. Step on a CD or scratch it and you can ruin it.
2. Faster loading.
But look at the Disadvantages
1. Cost much more to produce. A CD costs less then a dollar while a cart is about 10 to 20 bucks.
2. Very Limited on Data. I think the most a n64 cart could hold was 32 megabytes. With Cd’s its endless cause you can always prompt for disc 2 and so on.
3. Easier to bootleg. Much more sites with n64 roms then playstation iso’s I bet
Thats all I have to say about that.
