Info: Power Pete was developed by Pangea Software and published by InterPlay in 1995 for Mac. The game was billed best game of the year by MacWorld and was included in every new Mac Preformas. It is a top-down arcade-shooter where you play as Power Pete to save the bunnies of the toy store from the chaotic toys who envy Pete’s popularity.
Ripper’s Note: When looking up this old Mac game that I loved as a child, I noticed there has been some demand via the Youtube Search for the game’s music. The soundtrack isn’t particularly big, so I gave it a go. I used BasiliskII to emulate MacOS7 and run my CD version of Power Pete on. Some of you may notice that the music is rather low quality. That’s not because of my poor recording skills; the samples the game uses (Percussion) are pretty low quality. (It might also have something to do with how BasiliskII works, I dunno.) Because the level tunes are so short, I had them loop 3 times instead of 2 so that you could absorb the tune more. Also, that image is a scan of my CD copy of the game, and as far as I know is the highest quality rip available of it. 😛

Hey, I don’t know if you’ll see this ClassicTeam, and I don’t see anyway to PM you, but I was hoping you could repost the link to the Power Pete game music? I literally have been searching for that music for several years and can’t find it. I literally registered here just so I could finally have that music, and that website apparently no longer exists. Also so far my attempts to get the game running via emulator haven’t worked either.
Or if anyone else who has the music would be willing to post a link to it as well I’d greatly appreciate it!

I third the request for a reupload from ClassicTeam or anyone who has it. I too have been searching for this OST for years.
Glad to see others posting about loving the music, hopefully ClassicTeam or someone else will assuage our longing for the music. I know I certainly want it, as the emulator thing is above my head apparently-but music would be better then nothing at all!;) Though truth be told I’d love to have both!
