Like my last (as-yet unfulfilled) request, I am aware of what music already exists out there for this release. The original soundtrack was released along with the movie a long time ago, and they have re-released it several times since then without adding anything. And then there’s the crappy demos that sound like they were recorded through computer speakers, and then we got an upgrade, and there’s a release that has various artists covering all the songs from the movie.
…At long last, we finally got an expanded set of music for Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas with the release of the Burton/Elfman Music Box earlier this year. While it helped to fill in a lot of the score that was missing, it is still incomplete. Most noticeably is the fact that "Doctor Finklestein/In the Forest" is composed of two cues, and there is music that plays between them that still has not been released. Other things missing are the short cue at the end of "What’s This?", the film version of "Sally’s Lament/Wandering Jack", and the film version of "Poor Jack" (the inflections in his voice differ in several places compared to the OST version). One more minor complaint is that the "Christmas Eve Montage" is still incomplete despite being gloriously expanded. A ten-second insert is missing early on in the track.
I don’t know if anything bigger than what we already have really does exist, but I’ve been told that the score isn’t that hard to find (if only I knew the right elitists, of course! Hrmph!). I do have a few leads, though. This page appears to just be an analysis of the full score: http://elfman.cinemusic.net/complete_nmbc.html….if it was still around. It has been deleted since last I looked. I’ve also seen a score cover for a promotional score, but that could just be from a blog that makes up covers for stuff whether it exists or not. My biggest lead comes from here: Thread 77256. There is something on the website that thread links to labeled as "The Nightmare Before Christmas (The Complete Score)" but all links on that website are dead and nobody can/will help me in the main thread.
Sorry if this got too wordy, but help of any kind will be greatly appreciated.

It,s missing also The mayor Theme, and a short 2sec cue when Sally is tuck in her master
I read that Intrada has some great Disney Soundtracks this year! maybe

Well the Intrada release of Up wasnt that great, if they do release The Nightmare before Christmas through Intrada, it will probably similar to the OST. I think the closest thing we’ll get to a complete score is the Tim Burton/Danny Elfman 25th Anniversary Set you already mentioned. Hopefully well get a more complete version soon!
I hope it so one of my holy grails! i am so glad that we have a expanded version with the instrumental songs thanks to Tim Burton and Danny Elfman

Well, thanks for finding IM24CTU’s post in there. At least I didn’t miss out on anything genuine…What are trying to say, though, below that screenshot? A two-second cue? I understand the part about the mayor’s theme missing; that’s one of the cues I pointed out was left out of the Burton/Elfman Music Box.
Its the cue when Sally tuck in Dr Finklestein when she poisoning him, it,s missing a few sec before the Town Meeting Song Intro is going to play
I’m curious to find what you’re trying to describe because I’m working a complete score for this film in case nobody can produce the real thing. I was certain that I had all the cues documented. I’ve been a fan of this movie ever since I was really little, and I’d think by now that I wouldn’t be forgetting any music.

Well it is this cue when the mayor is calling town meeting

Do you also know that a 12 sec short cue from Oogie Boogie is missing at the end from Kidnap the sandy clause? i dont get it why this short pieces are left on the expanded version
I hope someday for a isolated score
We missing on the score 2 minutes
5 Short Cues
1-Town Calling Meeting 4 sec
2-Christmas Town hmmm After Whats this song 6 sec
3 Jack see Santa for the first time 8sec
4-Oogie Boogie-After song Kidnap The Sandy Clause 12 sec
5-First Part of Police on the telephone-Christmas Eve 10 sec
2 Long Cues
Jack in the woods with zero fedge 30 sec
Mayor Theme 42 sec
And, just curious, why do you hope for an isolated score for this movie? Wouldn’t the recording sessions be better or perhaps just the complete score? Check the second link in my sig for more information about those kinds of classifications.

Man recording sessions will be great or alternate versions if you watch the deleted scenes you hear other music by Danny Elfman
Here are the three cues in a rar file

It sucked also that the overture theme and the opening are cut off on the end of the song
Yeah, one of the other cues I forgot to mention was the film version of the opening. I can’t find any information about who did the voice-over in the film. On the soundtrack, it’s Patrick Stewart, and on that various artists release, it’s done by Danny Elfman, himself. But who did it in the movie?
Check,it,s the only deleted scene with music

I checked the files you posted; I already am aware of the second (2nd or 3rd on your list above?) and third ones (5th on your list above), as I said before. I think the second and third things on your list above are the same cue; two descriptions of the same cue. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Okay! yes you are right that is the same cue
