Hi, I really enjoy listening to the old BTTF non-remastered scores, I think they sound amazing. The only song I wasn’t able to get my hands on over the decades, is ’85 lone pine mall. The original one from the old non-remastered score. I heard it was available on the "Delorean Bootleg", but I can’t find much info about it.

’85 lone pine mall sounds good in the Intrada release, but it’s pretty far from what we hear in the movie. It’s not as detailed and crisp. Also, the version at the end of the "Overture" track isn’t the one from the movie. Which is why I’m hoping someone has the rare original version somewhere.

Let me know if you can help me out. I’ve been looking for that track for ages.

Thanks! 🙂

It looks like it… It contains all the old tracks from the non-remastered score… But the 85 lone pine mall track isn’t there. That’s confusing.

Here’s what I found:

The 2nd, 3rd and 4th links are pretty similar. I was able to find and download albums which were supposedly that release, but they contained tracks taken from the Debney "BTTF Trilogy album". 85 lone pine mall being one of them…

Makes me wonder if this track even exists…

I’d ask DylanZimmer. He knows BTTF pretty well and could probably help you out.

If it’s the edition I’m thinking of, avoid it at all costs. Intrada’s is THE way to go. Whomever did the Delorean bootleg did a cruddy job. I imagine the source was noisy and whoever mastered it completely removed all the hiss and noise to the point that it sounds unlistenably flat.
