Hey guys – the wait is finally over! Hopefully this will hold you over until the game finally arrives on 10/15. Both the FLAC and mp3 versions are available. I also made several changes to the tags for pretty much every track. Changed just about every track name to English and added the album artwork. That’s exactly 116 edited tracks!! Really hope you guys enjoy.

Believe me, I’ve tried really hard to find out what those characters are all about! I ran them through Google Translate and it said "hot weather", which didn’t make much sense. Then I contacted one of my friends who speaks Japanese and she said it looks like Chinese. Anybody have a Chinese friend?? Lol

As for the track itself, it’s the remix to the "Stage 1 – Office District (day) – Airport song. Really solid track too!

You read it as Hiten Rougetsu – HI (fire) TEN (sky) ROU (trifle) GETSU (month). Rougetsu is also a name, I think here it is meant to be name, so it’s something along these lines: Fiery Sky Rougetsu.

There’s something really odd going on with the spectrograms on Disc 2 for this. Lossy master? Disc 1 seems absolutely fine by the way. This is only on Disc 2. I’m just going to assume it’s a lossy master and that ‘normalize’ wasn’t used in EAC, because that’s the only other thing I can think of thats happening here.

Interesting…. I haven’t even heard of spectrograms until now. What’s the purpose of using them? What are you looking for in the music?

Did you rip the CD yourself if you don’t mind me asking?

I usually check them to check if a rip has been transcoded. (eg mp3 to flac) Less of an issue these days, but 15 years ago it was pretty common to run in to people doing that.

For the time being we could just leave it as an all-caps romanization a la FUUGA and KAGEMATSURI from Guilty Gear XX.

The 116 tracks specifically refers to how many tracks were edited on both the mp3 and FLAC formats.
