Here is the soundtrack for Lightning Jack!

Paul Hogan is Lightning Jack Kane. An Australian outlaw in the American west looking to make a name for himself. Also starring Cuba Gooding Jr as his mute partner, Ben.

It’s one funny scene after another.

If you are a fan of Paul Hogan…or a fan of Western comedies with a heart then this is a movie you will enjoy!

The music is a whole lot of western goodness. Bruce Rowland gives it a nice, distinct charm and is a welcomed addition to the genre and my collection. 😉

Enjoy!

Bruce Rowland is on charted territory when it comes to Western film music. I bet he channeled some classic influences to inject into this comedic Western film. Four years earlier, Australian director Simon Wincer used Basil Poledouris to score “Quigley Down Under” and that was an all-around success. PM sent.

Link received. Yee-haw, mate! It is more modern that I thought with the use of an electric guitar and drums. Very nice mix with the more traditional instruments (banjo, harmonica, brass) used in the Western type music! “A Snake Bite Bonding” is a beautiful track. Thank you very much, StarFox for sharing this rarity!
