Hey, I’m having trouble unpacking the rar archive (getting a "cannot find the path specified" error). This is probably because the file names are too long for the program to extract them, but I can’t rename them because the files are locked to editing. Any help?

I don’t have this problem, maybe try use 7zip program (as the file is a 7z), cut the file in a shorter position to your disc (example: D:\(here)) and then extract it from there. Hope this helps 🙂

Sorry if I can’t help, I didn’t downloaded the file yet (I think I will stick to the 16bit), anyways let’s see if someone know any newer method to download from Baidu 🙂

It was extremely painful to figure out. I’m DL’g it right now, as soon as it’s done I’ll upload to MEGA and share the link with you guys (OP, feel free to update the main post with the link I’ll share).

For anyone who cares, once you register your Baidu account, you can use JDownloader to download instead of the Baidu software.

The steps for JDownloader are:
-Add your account via JDownloader (pan.baidu.com)
-Login is the phone number you used to register on Baidu but pay attention to what it looks like on the Baidu website (likely has some 0s in the front of it, so "00xxxphonenumberxxx". If it works properly, a captcha should come up but the line will likely still be red afterwards telling you something is wrong with the login (if it’s wrong altogether, it won’t bring up a captcha)
-Then add pan.baiduwp.com as an account as well
-The login for pan.baiduwp.com is a dummy profile, so "blabla" for user, "blabla" for password. It should register the same way without error.

After all of that, you can add the baidu link to JDownloader and start your download. Another captcha should come up but this time it should DL. FWIW.
