NOT a complaint, just a question, is there a reason why you do 100MB+100MB+30MB splits, instead of a single 230MB file? I have a premium Mediafire account, do they limit free accounts to 100MB for each upload? I see it periodically from other users too, and have wondered what the reason is. Hi.
Let me say a few words.
Mediafire limits the speed to one file ~ 100 KB / s. This means downloading three small files at the same time faster than one large.
But there are other reasons:
– An unstable connection is constantly breaking and downloading a large file is more difficult than a few small ones.
– Slow communication with Mediafire servers in some countries (again, several small files are easier to download)
– Storing files in the cloud with a file size limit (for example, 4shared.com is 250mb)
