EDIT: Link received. First thing I did after loading this into my music collection was to fix track 6. No, this isn’t a problem with the disc, but a problem caused by a bad decision on Williams’ part.

Track 6 on this CD is the concert arrangement for Star Trek TMP theme. Star Trek: The Motion Picture’s theme in its concert arrangement runs at a 6:4 tempo, with the exception of the middle section, which runs at a 4:4 tempo. For this album Williams set the tempo at 4:4 throughout the entire piece. Someone who doesn’t regularly listen to Star Trek music might feel there is nothing wrong. However, every time I listened to the track it was as if Williams had everyone going in slow motion. In fact, it was so bad it simply had to be skipped.

I fixed the problem by increasing the tempo of the outer sections of the piece by 20% in Audacity. I’m happy, as I can listen to the album again. If you are one of those people who isn’t fond of the John Williams version, and I know some of you are out there, download Out Of This World STTMP Fixes.rar (https://www93.zippyshare.com/v/W39rurNa/file.html) and copy to the folder you stuck the original album in. Make a backup of your original FLAC files…if you don’t have a disc that is. Do note that this is NOT the full album: the full album offered by the OP is required.
