Don’t remember the music to this series at all but will have to check it out. For anyone not familiar with Afterlife, a 14 episode British series starring Lesley Sharp, who should not be missed in anything that she is in, and who certainly not be missed in this. It’s a riff on the classic British ghost story, of the type immortalized by MR James. But upped a notch for the 21st century, and the scariest grown-up ghost stories that I’ve ever seen. Nothing to interest teens, and certainly nothing that should be watched by children. Deeply haunting meditations on death, and what might happen after.
