Hello ,new member here, i have a question that’s been bothering me

first off, i absolutely love the VGM download forum and much appreciate the hugely generous amount of not only official soundtracks but also better quality versions and game rips, and i tip my hat to all those awesome people that share them, but what i really don’t understand is that even though any and all video games are permitted, one video game franchise is prohibited, and that’s Resident Evil, why is that? it confuses me to no end because it’s never explained why, so if any kind person would tell me, a thousand thanks to you in advance

1) Not all video games’ music is permitted, so, you’re definitely wrong about that.
2) What’s the most obvious answer which would come to mind? In a broad sense, copyright owners showed up and they said: "stop, if you don’t want to face consequences".

i see, i did have copyright holders threatning on my mind actually but what made me question that was that there are plenty of VGM soundtracks which copyright holders would launch this place to oblivion for, anyhow a thousand thanks for the reply, and a thousand thanks more to the VGM download forum sharers
