Hello.
I checked the FAQ of the forum at the top and also read all the stickies on Questions, Feedback, Assistance sub-forum and I could not find answers to my very specific (but quite interesting questions):

– Is there any way to know what is considered anime and what is not
ex: is NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu considered as anime ?

– Let’s say NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu is considered as anime.
Now, if a new member that have strictly zero interest into video game music but is 100% into anime wants to share that particular album (https://www.discogs.com/Jay-Vincent-Michael-Kramer-Ninjago-Masters-Of-Spinjitzu/release/11440354),
what is going to happen to that user ?

– Now what about posting the following album (https://www.discogs.com/Austin-Wintory-Tooth-And-Tail/release/11920199),
Hey wait this album was also self-published by the composer himself (https://www.discogs.com/Austin-Wintory-Tooth-And-Tail/release/12743346), so what if a user is sharing that second release ?

– Next year maybe all the releases by La La Land will be forbidden on the board,
what will happen to users that posted hundreds of their releases, prior to the announcement such releases are forbidden ?

– Does anyone have the right to make a new thread with forbidden contents but without sharing any direct link (ex: accessible only with PMs) ?

– Does anyone have the right to post links to other websites that share forbidden contents but not exclusively forbidden contents ?

– What if anyone post links to other websites that share forbidden contents but the user hides the link to said websites behind diverses protections (ex: redirections, encrypted url) ?

– Is there any way to know who are the current moderators of the board ?

Thanks to let me know, I am sure the answers could interest some other members of this community too.

Hello.
I checked the FAQ of the forum at the top and also read all the stickies on Questions, Feedback, Assistance sub-forum and I could not find answers to my very specific (but quite interesting questions):

– Is there any way to know what is considered anime and what is not

Anime is pretty straight forward. It’s animated and producted in Japan.
NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu is about Japan but is an American production. Not anime.

As far as I know nothing in either case, as it is a soundtrack album that is not from a forbidden publisher.

This is Varese Sarabande, so no.
Since the self published version is identical to the Varese version, the publisher is likely to consider it a distinction without a difference, so still no.

– Next year maybe all the releases by La La Land will be forbidden on the board,
what will happen to users that posted hundreds of their releases, prior to the announcement such releases are forbidden ?
The posters will be fine as long as they remove the links. This happens every time a new publisher is added to the forbidden list.

– Does anyone have the right to make a new thread with forbidden contents but without sharing any direct link (ex: accessible only with PMs) ?
Absolutely not.

– Does anyone have the right to post links to other websites that share forbidden contents but not exclusively forbidden contents ?
Absolutely not.

– What if anyone post links to other websites that share forbidden contents but the user hides the link to said websites behind diverses protections (ex: redirections, encrypted url) ?
Absolutely not. Stop trying to find loopholes.

– Is there any way to know who are the current moderators of the board ?
Don’t worry, they’ll find you.

Keep your nose clean and you’ll be fine. If you’re not sure, don’t do it.
