Maximum Overdrive – Team Sonic Racing Original Soundtrack [Release on May 29, 2019]

So, it looks like Team Sonic Racing’s OST will be released later this year at around the same time as the game. It’s going to released as a three-disc album (https://vgmdb.net/album/85036), and it’ll also be available digitally, both as downloads and stream (https://www.gamnesia.com/news/team-sonic-racings-maximum-overdrive-soundtrack-drops-worldwide-in-may-2019) (Amazon Music, iTunes/Apple Music, Google Play, Spotify).

If anyone is planning on getting this, it would be awesome to have a lossless rip for ffshrine. Needless to say, if I get my hands on it, a copy will also be provided to the forums. 😉

You actually can pre-order the soundtrack (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/WWCE-31418) in this case; regardless, this was more of a "all right, this is coming out, keep an eye on it and get it if you want it, and if you can upload to FFS, that’d also be cool" kind of thing.

Bump. Apparently the digital release is already out? From what I’ve been reading it should have launched alongside the game yesterday, but I’m not able to find it in the itunes store at the moment. Regardless I am damn excited for more butt rock.

Too bad racing is the genre I am the worst at… I really love the game but I am wondering if I’m doing something wrong.. OK, I beat the regular races but the challenges are, well, challenges indeed. Haven’t tried online yet.

Speaking of OST, I need it. I don’t know why but Sonic music has crept near of my heart… Forces has an excellent OST, so does this.

Thank you! I’ve actually read a few release announcements claiming the digital release would be out the day the game was released, with the physical release to follow. I saw a few sources mirroring something to the extent of "the digital release will be available day 1." I wonder if the digital release was delayed to coincide with the physical release. And that’s like the least interesting observation in Sonic history but there it is I guess.

I’m also hoping for this but in FLAC for anyone who has gotten the disc or some lossless release I haven’t come across.
