I love the "Buddy-Cop" genre! I appreciate that Kevin Smith was trying to capture the spirit of the genre in this film. From what I understand it was a

passion-project for him. So I enjoy it for what it is.

I’m always up for my boy, Bruce Willis. He can do no wrong in my eyes…(Yes, I LOVE Hudson Hawk).

Tracy Morgan was great here as well. I’d only seen him on SNL before this. They worked well together. I’m also a HUGE fan of Seann William Scott and I was

THRILLED he was in this film too. He’s another actor that can do no wrong in my eyes. Underrated performer :).

You know what’s great about this score? Harold Faltermeyer came out of retirement to do it! The KING of this genre!

Tango & Cash will always be my favorite score from him (http://forums.ffshrine.org/showthread.php?t=230328&highlight= CHEAP PLUG ALERT!)…but you have

Beverly Hills Cop, Top Gun, Kuffs, The Running Man, etc….DUDE IS A LEGEND!!!

This score could suck and still be awesome because its FALTERMEYER! Thankfully it doesn’t suck ;). Its like he never left. What a treat!
