The Rock is one of my favorite films. The story, cast, action, emotions, and score….very well-rounded! WATCH IT!
This score is the first of its kind that I had ever heard. It was so different from the John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, or James Horner sound that I had known.
Whereas John Williams opened my eyes to the beauty of film scores…The Rock only enhanced it further. It was so different and yet told a wonderful THEMATIC story!
It was quite a risk spending $8.99 at Walmart to pick up a score that I had no idea would impact my life at 14 years old. Just for that, THE ROCK
is one of my most favorite scores ever. I can’t say enough about it! Thanks to everyone who made it happen! 😉

When I posted this, I remember thinking, "R.I.P., Inbox" for you…I almost feel guilty for laughing so hard ;).
All that aside, your version is the only one I listen to now outside of the OST experience. Nothing else is needed until an official expanded release.
