Message in a Bottle is a 1999 American romantic drama film directed by Luis Mandoki and based on Nicholas Sparks’ 1998 novel of the same name. It stars Kevin Costner, Robin Wright and Paul Newman. It tells the story of a woman who discovers a tragic love letter in a bottle on a beach, and is determined to track down its author.

This is my favorite Gabriel Yared score, from the very first note to the last one, the score is fantastic, a masterpiece no doubt about it. One of the most beautiful scores ever composed, I can’t avoid crying like a baby every time I listen this gorgeous music.
Definitely is one of my most beloved possessions, a must have!
