To interpret Baroque music, Giuliano Carmignola plays with a violin by Johannes Florenus Guidantus of 1739 in its original state and the Stradivarius "Baillot" of 1732 made available by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna. To interpret classical and romantic music, he plays a Pietro Guarneri dating from 1733.
