Blade Runner: Los Angeles 2019 (Ambient) by Frank Klepacki

Hey folks, by popular demand, here are the ambient tracks composed by Frank Keplacki that appeared in the Westwood videogame adaptation.

Now, for those who follow the Blade Runner thread (Thread 72496), these tracks can also be found on the third disc of the Esper Edition of the Blade Runner soundtrack – which is where I ultimately ended up pulling these tracks from, rather than digging around in my rather sizeable library for hours on end.

I’ve not changed the album art from the original version due to, well, pretty much loathing every single optional cover art I could find for these 12 tracks. (I am not a graphic designer, and should not be entrusted with Making Visual Art.) So if someone here feels like mocking up some nice art for these 12 ambient tracks, I would be extremely grateful.

Unfortunately, I only have what I have. I don’t tend to collect lossless files as I physically cannot hear a difference between standard 320kbps MP3 and lossless (not, mind you, for want of trying). So, erm, sorry.

Hi Caine, these may be more Frank Klepacki tracks from the game, but the initial post was focused on providing the ambient tracks that several posters had requested in other threads. As to the Esper Edition you ask about: it does feature music by Vangelis, among others. If you click on the link in the first post to the Blade Runner thread, you’ll find the Esper Edition listed as one such edition of scores for Blade Runner.
