I’m catching up with a few Materia Collective releases that I missed sharing last year!

The Fantasy EP

This one’s a 3-track EP, and a killer collection of FF metal covers by Thennecan and friends Matias Castro (Accordion), Joanne Moo (Piano and Harp), Matheus Garcia Souza (Violin), Michael Evans (Cello), and Tavian St. James (Vocals).

~ Thennecan

The Fantasy EP is a collection of a few of my favourite tracks from the Final Fantasy series; my favourite game series. Nobuo Uematsu and Yoko Shimomura are among my favourite composers, and their music has made a huge impact on me. Through Final Fantasy, I found Materia Collective, and I wish to make more arrangements in the future.

I treat my albums around gameplay, so included an exploration/overworld theme, a battle theme, and a climax. I hope that you all enjoy this EP as much as I did working on it!
