Ghostbusters 2 – Various Artists (1989 OST – FLAC)

Here is the OST for Ghostbusters 2.
Definitely not as well loved as the original film, but this is still great.
It came out in the summer of 1989 where there were plenty of "disappointing" sequels (Rocky 5, Star Trek 5, Karate Kid 3, etc)
Those disappointing sequels are great in my eyes. Story could be lacking but it’s always fun to revisit characters and their worlds.
This is a fun soundtrack that definitely fits the film well. I hope the score is somehow able to be released one day.
It makes you wonder doesn’t it? Whether she’s naked under that toga?

No link needed, but: Rewatched Ghostbusters last year for the first time since its original release and loved it still. Also watched II for the first time last year and loved it, too. Peter MacNichol (sp?) is a total riot and Bill Murray was less abrasive and (I thought) much more genuinely funny, actually charming, in the sequel. Other than Star Treks, only film I’ve ever seen with a Roman numeral in it’s title and I wish I would have seen it long ago, so I could have enjoyed re-watching it once or twice more since. Will definitely have to watch Back to the Future III soon. Thanks for starting my day by bringing back pleasant memories!
