So a bit of history! After I watched Dead Leaves, I set out to download the soundtrack, but it flat-out didn’t exist online. Then, around 5 years later, I finally found a download for an mp3 version on this very website! But who’s going to be satisfied with a mp3 copy? So I moved to Japan, bought a copy of the CD and made my own lossless copy! I also did English translations for the track titles, a lot of the titles are equal parts hilarious and filthy, which I didn’t realize until I sat down to translate them! No cue lists or any of that nonsense, but you have my word that I personally ripped this myself from the original CD! Enjoy!
thats some dedication xD
thanks for the share
Just one question: if it took you as long as it did to get your hands on a CD to rip it yourself, why did you stop short? Why not just get a log and cue and call it a day? It requires little effort. Consider checking out this guide if you’re interested in having a perfect CD rip: Thread 91868
As for why no logs or cues, it’s ‘cuz I personally don’t think it’s necessary. I think all most people care about is the music itself. As for the accuracy of the rip, I used DBpoweramp, a well-respected program and it said the rips were accurate, so that’s good enough for me. If someone thinks I’m lying and didn’t actually make a rip from the original CD, well, they’re welcome to make their own rip and post logs and cues to prove it.

I can respect that, but I just find it very strange that after over a decade, you literally move to japan to get this CD (according to your backstory anyway lol) and then just stop short with the ripping process. I don’t care either way as, again, I had no idea what this was until now, but you’d really be doing yourself as well as anyone else looking for a rip a favour by just making a 100% rip with EAC. It takes no longer than dbpoweramp and all you do is just start the ripping process and afk until it finishes.
Also, wanting a cue and log isn’t to make sure you aren’t "lying" about not having ripped the CD yourself. It’s to ensure the audio was extracted perfectly from the CD, hence being a "perfect rip." If all you wanted was a bare flac rip, you could have already gotten that without having to get the CD yourself. I see one on a site I’m on with no log or cue that was uploaded over 2 years ago when the site was created, and who knows how much older the source files are.
