Well, time to update my Disney soundtracks and edits with this one – some really wonderful instrumental tracks in here. And A Whole New World was actually the film instrumental, filled with little things here and there. I wonder if the vocal track found on the other discs use the same backing track, but this is really exciting to listen to. They took care of many things here, certainly!

The OST album version was actually dialled down with some instruments replaced as well. However, it’s weird how they used the album piano intro before switching to the film instrumental for the main song instead of just using the film intro!

Exactly what I thought! Also, Colors Of The Wind is presented without the leadin, instead lands us directly in the main part of the song. Also, the concluding is different to the album presentation and holds more closely with the film version. I think this is a very interesting set.

The Colors of the Wind instrumental here is made after the 2015 remastered ‘The Legacy Collection’ album, that’s why it includes the bells at the final chorus and the film’s closing. The weird thing is that it misses the song’s introduction.
