The Producers is an American musical comedy film directed by Susan Stroman and written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan based on the eponymous 2001 Broadway musical, which in turn was based on Brooks’s 1967 film of the same name. This 2005 version is starred by Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Uma Thurman, Will Ferrell, Gary Beach, Roger Bart, and Jon Lovitz.

Thanks for sharing this, PPKA. There are many things in this musical that I like, and my favorites are the cute Little Old Ladies :D. In the film version they did the funnier chorus, didn’t they? Somebody should have done a spin-off for them.

And I can’t help admiring the musical skills of Mel Brooks. Writing good themes doesn’t look like an easy thing in any genre, and he came up with a great set of songs for the stage. He could have been a successful songwriter or other kind of professional musician, besides "the first white artist performing a full-fledged rap song to penetrate the R&B chart" (link (http://nightflight.com/mel-brooks-1981-hit-made-him-the-first-white-artist-to-land-a-rap-song-on-the-rb-charts/)). Lol, giant Mel.
