Big thanks to kooke for sharing the FLAC version!
Once again, Thanks and Reputation points are always appreciated before a link request!;)
Yes, I’m a Thanks and Rep whore. My shame has been exposed.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
I, sadly, do not. I’ll share the instant I do though.
Thanks in advance!
A very kind member sent me the FLAC version of this score! Big thanks to kooke for this amazing share!

Thank you so much – you’re a star! 🙂
Update; thanks for doing this, but it turns out the files are not real FLAC’s, just upsampled mp3’s, and hence no use to me. Not your fault though. So my search must continue!

Well dang. Yeah that does happen every now and then. Still a nice presentation.
Like you said, the search must continue. The search being half the fun in our hobby. The goal being the other.
If I ever come across the genuine FLAC version I will contact you here.

Likewise!
Thanks again

In my opinion, saying that these FLAC files (by the way, real and standard ones, not modified MP3, for those who may think otherwise) are not the sound originally released in CD but were made with MP3 audio is incorrect and misleading if the only proof is the report of Losslees Audio Checker. Have you any other reason to say that? I’d also like to know more details about the process you refer, to possibly do some tests.
Note that I’m not defending or claiming the opposite. Even though ripping logs are included, a physical copy of the CD would be needed to really prove it, or some match with a trustworthy database. As I’m much more interested in "truth" than in caressing my ego, rectifying errors is close to a need, and I’d have no problem with that. Like the case below:
My labelling of this set as bootleg seems to be wrong. The album is classified like that in https://soundtrackcollector.com/title/10927/, and there are several aspects of the artwork that might suggest it too, but after reading this page (https://moviemusicuk.us/2016/08/04/flight-of-the-navigator-alan-silvestri/), I learned that "Super Tracks" was a real label that made an official release 9 years after the movie, with Silvestri providing the masters.
So, the " [Bootleg]" expression shown in the tags and files should be deleted. Sorry about that.
You’re welcome! Link sent! 😉
Your search is over. Done deal 😉
