Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ♪ Expanded Soundtrack

This project will be a Collection of all and more music in Super Smash Bros. Series.

◈ Introduction ◈

This project will be separated by volumes, just like it’s separated in the Sound test of the game.
Very similar to the previous Smash Expanded soundtrack that I made for 3DS/Wii U, but this time I’m really gonna make it Expanded.
So additionally the tracks will be separated into two discs:

Disc 1: Sound Test
All the tracks they appear in the sound test, in the exact order and with the exact name they appear.
The 800+ songs without fanfares and Victory themes, just the tracks you can play in the stages.

Disc 2: Bonus Tracks
It will first include all the tracks that don�t appear not in the sound test but are in the game, like Victory Themes and items songs etc.

After that would include the old remixes that didn’t make to ultimate, but it seems that all remixes from previous games are back, but it will have the previous Victory themes from past games. The original music from the Smash games will be included as well, like Smash 64 Character Selection.

And finally, it will include the original compositions for the Smash arrangements, so this collection has more tracks than the original game. You can check it in the booklet found which is the original track of a remix, I used the same name for the original tracks just added a [Original] so it’s easy to check the original version of the arrangement, some tracks are based on two or more songs so the booklet would be more useful for those.

Since most of the original version of the remixes aren’t featured in the game I have to get them from somewhere else, so they may have different quality,
Sample rates. I always try to find FLAC 48000HZ.

LYRICS: Will feature the who wrote the lyrics, and the actual lyrics below

⬗ Covers ⬗

I made covers art for all character in the game and alternative costume.
I also made back covers featuring the tracklist with length.
Both will be attached in the files.

⬖ Booklet ⬖

I’m working on a booklet featuring the tracklist with the info from the Sound test like the arranger and debut game.
But also info that isn’t in the like Original Composer, performer for every track, not only the remixes, lyrics, who wrote the lyrics.
The booklet will also feature the name changes from past smash games. ex: Corneria -> Star Fox Medley
I also want to make a stats page each page and overall, with numbers and prosentence of how much remixes we have from each Smash game, for each series etc.
I’m focusing mostly on tagging the files now so I don’t have much of the booklet ready, here is a small preview of what I made so far:

I’ll upload a pdf sample version in a few days but the complete version will only be available when I upload all the volumes.

⬙Formats⬙

Here we have a problem, the original Opus files ripped from the game are 64kbps, which is not so great.
Converting to mp3 will have a loss of quality
To FLAC won’t have any loss but they will be much heavier than it should
And the original lopus files would be the most optimal way to listen but they can’t be tagged.

So I’ll replace the old remixes and original songs with Smash 4 and other albums lossless files.
It will have a contrast with the new remixes but most of the tracks will have better quality.

I’m also including an option to download individual tracks in MP3

It would have a contrast with the new remixes but most of the tracks would have a better quality.

Did you mean cutting tracks? If you want to cut something, like Lifelight, convert to wav, cut it with whatever program, export as wav, then convert to FLAC.

You could always check them against the sound test menu in the game.

I’d have to go through everything in a few days (I might be off the grid for a while), but off the top of my head. I know Pikmin is missing Ai no Uta, Ai no Uta (French version), and Tane no Uta. Which were all Brawl exclusive. Probable reason getting cut was licensing, I assume the same thing with the Sonic track.
And depending on how in-depth you want to get, you could also include the original opening and title tracks to Mega Man 5 since those appear uncredited in the Dark Man remix.

If it’s mp3 you can just download what you want in the individual tracks, but I don’t have enough space to do that with flac, or upload a different version without the original tracks, but I tried to make easier with you want to delete something, the Victory themes are the first thing and the original tracks are the lat.
I mentioned doing a version without all the original tracks cause in the sound test the original tracks are mixed with the remix and would be harder if you wanted to remove that.
But I’ll try to make a torrent link when all vols are done so you can select everything you want to download.

I’d have thought that the first volume you would add would be the music original to smash ultimate, but that surprisingly wasn’t it. Regardless, you’re doing and have done an amazing job with regards to Smash OSTs. I haven’t checked out the mock booklet yet, but if it’s all in highres that’d be fucking stellar.

I’d have thought that the first volume you would add would be the music original to smash ultimate, but that surprisingly wasn’t it. Regardless, you’re doing and have done an amazing job with regards to Smash OSTs. I haven’t checked out the mock booklet yet, but if it’s all in highres that’d be fucking stellar.

I don’t have a version of the booklet yet, I’m focusing on the volumes first.

So my MEGA account got terminated, I already bought another one and I’m working on reuploading everything.

I’m not sure which update you are talking about.

Aren’t you using kirbyhammer7’s gamerip? He updated it very recently, in which case I’d imagine you’d want to re-download his and re-tag everything.

Nope, he’s actually not using my rip, so no problems there. Dang, if he was updating his albums everytime I updated mine he’d be in for quite a ride lol

The Donkey Kong MP3 RAR contained the SFK file for 1.17 Funky’s Fugue when I extracted them, as well as the MP3 file.

Not sure if this was an error when downloading or if it actually is still in the folder, but just so you know.

I was able to open and extract all the other volumes, but these two don’t want to work. I don’t understand why.

Would anyone have a link to download the full mp3 set a different way? When I try to download the whole thing through MediaFire or Mega I’m told it’s just too big to download them all unless I subscribe, which I obviously don’t want to do. A torrent or something might be nice.
