Soul Calibur 6 – Raw music rip

Everything is in HCA format (that’s the format the game uses).

A couple notes:
– Stage music is split into several tracks. I think the main and 02 tracks are supposed to be mixed into one. I think the game fades into the 01 track whenever Reversal Edge happens (I’m not sure though).
– Everything in the BGM folder has valid track names but the names are on the wrong tracks. For instance, "EM_Exploring_Encount" is actually "Staff_Roll" and "Staff_Roll" is actually one of the main menu tracks (Main_Menu or one of the Decide_to_X_Mode). I used VGMToolbox for extracting the HCA files from ACB archives and I’m not sure if there’s a tool out there which would extract the tracks with correct names.

Oh, i wish this could be played with Media Player Classic, at least :/ will wait for a compatible rip then. Or maybe i’ll just download and convert them by myself.

I’m going to try to have them ready and encoded in FLAC/MP3 by Sunday evening. Unless of course someone beats me to it. :X

Sectus, you might like to add that Hca files can be played back (or transcoded) in foobar with the VGMStream plugin installed. Everyone on FFShrine should have it installed,

This would have actually made this 100 times easier. :X I guess I can get something fixed up a lot faster than then having to worry about looping in Audacity. There’s still some editing I’ll have to do in Audacity due to some of the songs having multiple HCA tracks, but this will definitely make the process a lot easier.

UPDATE: Files have been edited, sorted and tagged I’m now in the process of converting them to MP3 and FLAC, and will be uploading them shortly. Altogether it’s 127 tracks split between 6 discs and is right over 7 hours long.

Hey, thanks for this, first of all.
I am curious about how you managed to combine multiple tracks into one, though.
There are two versions of "Hunt or be Hunted" for Geralt, from Sectus’ upload (10 files total) and I’d like to have them without the female voice we can hear from the second half to the end of the song (it’s a separate track each time, easy to target).
