According to MobyGames, it seems Toshinden music had been reworked at least once between the different platforms releases.

I knew the PlayStation version (first 3D combat game i played and one of the first PS games, along with Ridge Racer), and its great soundtrack.

But the PC version got a quite "draft" version of the soundtrack in comparison.
