MANHUNT (The Video-Game) Movie Kickstarter campaign

Not sure where best to put this, so if this is not the right area, if a mod can move to somewhere more appropriate, i’d be mucho thankful.

So I have been directing a fan made movie based on the video game MANHUNT – We have done a Proof of Concept (Ready to go live on Monday) and a pitch video for the Kickstarter campaign, and i would like to share that with this amazing community – With hopes that you can share it, and if you have some spare cash lying around, possibly donate so that we can get this project made in full.

If the 43k that is needed is donated to make the movie, i am not sure how you would think that anyone is making a profit out of it, unless i am not getting what you’re getting at!

with creative accounting, i’m sure you can finish the movie with a budget of $400.

We can do it for nothing if all the cast, crew, locations, accommodations, travel, food, make up, equipment etc, were free, or worked for free, but we’re not slave drivers. We want all to get paid for their hard work. Thanks for your input though!

if piggsy isnt naked, fat and retarded or isnt even in the movie i wont even bother. piggsy was the best thing from the game.

Piggsy is there, but this story is prior to the first game, so we see him in a different iteration (still deranged and wielding a chainsaw) – Most if not all of the cast are pretty unknown, i mean we have not cast A listers, the essence was to make it more ‘Snuff’ like!

There isn’t really anywhere appropriate since the forum doesn’t exist to be free advertising for people. Also, have you considered that you are probably open to getting your shit taken down by the copyright holders? You might wanna scrub it of open admissions that you are flouting intellectual property laws.

As stated, if it is not appropriate, an admin can remove it, so far that have not, so thanks for your advice.

We have permission by the appropriate parties to make what we are making, so i think we’ll be safe, again thanks for your advice
