I thought it best I use a ‘true’ representation of myself…an ‘Urban Beardsman’ 🙂
Urban Beardsman? Is this nomenclature a sub-species or an ethnicity?
I’ve never heard this term before today. Years ago I set personal goals to learn something new each day, etc so it appears I’m on course again 🙂
Btw, the links, pass word, et all arrived as expected. I’m still boning up on background before "going there."
Thanks again for A Winged Victory For the Sullen!
A midlife crisis maybe ?…who knows but everyone seems to approve of the ‘longer’ look 🙂
maybe it’s because it hides more of my face 😀
That’s a cool site, thanks for the link. All the things I never knew about facial hair and was afraid to ask!
As far as facial hair goes, I’m in the shallow end of the gene pool. I just don’t have the "it" factor for the beard thingy. That and I get itchy after just a couple of days.
When I’m too lazy to shave every day and I let the whiskers grow, I can only take 72 hours, max!
Thanks to the Urban Beardsman link, I can live vicariously by looking at pictures of other men who are also too lazy to shave but who manage to make the whole "Man Fur" thing look cool.
Maybe someday. If I keep drinking milk, staying away from dangerous drugs and taking my vitamins… 😉
This is why I now have a longer regime for the beard consisting of Combs, Boar Bristle Brush, Beard Oil, Beard Balm.
All the things above have now become my daily routine, some may say it’s just way to much trouble and expensive to say the least
and I understand that but for me it was a choice to change what was ‘Normal’ for me and re-invent 😀
So for the past year or so all is as it should be so I will continue my ‘Urban Beardsman’ trend as it certainly seems to be popular
and certainly in vogue at present…I think I was in my early twenties the last time I was actually without facial hair of some description. 🙂
You might want to reconsider the whole beard thing and give it another serious effort my friend.
stay well.
