Hi everyone, I’ve been cleaning my room and what I found was this 3-disc collection of "Western Movie Hits", by Red (or Ned?) Nash Orchestra (Music Digital – 11 885, 11 886, 11 887).
Today you can buy these german discs seperately via amazon, sometimes they pop up on ebay.

This is simply my childhood. I got these cds, when I was about 5 years old and listened to them all the time. They are quite rare for me.
Although all tracks are cover versions (are they?), that doesn’t mean you must skip this thread :D. Some of them are pretty comfortable to listen,
and they are very close to originals – Ole Buttermilk Sky for example.

Some tracks have wrong name on back cd tray, or wrong author, but I couldn’t find any info about it.
Odd thing: the first track on "Paint Your wagon" album was named as "The man with the harmonica", but we all can tell that it’s "Jill’s theme".
Please don’t blame for not providing any more info, because there is nothing else I know (this collection is not even on discogs, as I know).
The tracks are also directly taken from discs, so there are no tags. And I didn’t include author names, because I consider these songs to be well known (and this collection is shared here just for fun 😉

I wanted to rip all cds with EAC, but the "Rawhide" disc was so scratched, that I couldn’t rip track no. "15. The Electric Horseman – My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys".
Trying to rip it, my mechanic always stucked and didn’t proceed, so I had to use foobar for tracks 15. and 16. This means that there is no log, although all tracks should be fine.

The second disc and third discs should be ripped accurately.
Enjoy it 😉

Next time I try to rip this cd: https://www.discogs.com/Ned-Nash-Orchestra-The-Greatest-Western-Movie-Themes/release/6408249
(I’m confused. Is it Red or Ned nash orchestra? Because some tracks are same on this album)

Western Movie Hits – Music Digital 11 886
(the whole 3-disc collection was named after the third disc, so the sleeve cover was same. Well, this cd was presented as third disc in the collection,
but the number 11 886 is confusing, isn’t it?)

Well, it seems that this collection has some tracks by Ned Nash Orchestra, but some of them are from different sources.
