so the revival disc is just a re-release/remaster of the OST with some bonus tracks and a 34gb video file? what on earth is contained in that big ass video? behind the scenes footage?

now the concert footage, that is going to be off the hook!!!! I hope someone is able to get do a FLAC rip of the concert. I can attempt it myself but I am no expert

its literally just a big HD video of cutscenes with somewhat remixed audio. The last 4 track is what counts. I really wish they release the live concert in Blu-Ray or something with proper quality.

So, I went ahead and normalize the volume of the audio, and remastered the audio from the Xenogears 20th Anniversary concert using Adobe Audition and Ozone 5 mastering plugin.

Still no news about a video/audio rip from the Bluray ?
Sadly I order it, made a mistake, and got the bluray of the soundtrack instead of the 20th concert lol. Grrr !

It will release on 13th Mar, you can see on CDJapan and VGMDb (https://vgmdb.net/album/82792). I really hope someone will make a flac rip of the bluray on this forum 🙂

I’m buying the Blu-Ray. ON a side note, a translation project for the pamphlet sold at the concert is being released by torrent by me on the same day. Technically you can get it now, but I will be posting it then – I served as an editor and proofreader for that, check this place again on the week of the 13th. This pamphlet will also be available digitally on the blu-ray.

I just wanted to say, that this is long waited release for me. And now that it is released in high quality, I can confirm that this is the most beautiful "album" I’ve ever listened to in my life. This is really amazing, this is so well mixed and mastered also. I’m just blown away, you need to download this IMHO.
But let’s wait also for VyseLegend to upload the video of the blu-ray that would be also great to watch!

(Please take note that this is not my rip, if they will make a CD release I would buy it)

This is great but is there any chance you can provide the raw bluray/BDMV image for archival purposes?

Someone already has done so on Nyaa. I chose to go the consumer friendly route, making everything easily useable by video apps but keeping full disc fidelity. Keep in mind the data is all intact so you’re basically getting the real thing.
