How exactly is this "promo" version different from the regular release?

Loki82: no idea, because I never had the regular version.

I just know that this promo CD has been given to the press, radio stations etc. for promotion purposes and it came just in a cardboard sleeve instead of a real jewel case.
On the back side you can see the little notice "CD PROMO – INTERDITE A LA VENTE" which means "not for sale".

Please use Google if you want to check if the content of the cd is the same like from the regular release.
