God of War – 2018 – Spotify

Think I remember some people posting direct Spotify links in threads in the past. This is more of an acknowledgment that this soundtrack is out, as well as hoping that someone is able to rip it.

Thanks for the thread, I didn’t even know was already out on Spotify, but for the better quality, we’ll have to wait a few days until the release.

A lot of actually overhyped games get a good Metacritic score, I’m still skeptical about the new GoW, mostly because Sony is just shoehorning all their franchises into a single mold, which leaves little room for originality.

Thanks for the rip. Being able to listen to the score a week early is a nice surprise. Didn’t even know McCreary was scoring this until a couple weeks ago; before that I had little interest in the game, but his involvement has me intrigued. I figure the game is worth a rental.

After some brief analysis, I’ve found that the recording rip that sittingonclouds posted is too loud, boomy and lacks clarity, whereas the one that riegel posted (and it took an hour to download) sounds better, but is overall a little quieter than the actual soundtrack appears to be.

Spotify is still the best version available, but the hotlink one is the better of the two ‘rips’.

Cause most is slow music and God Of War used to be full on action experience with action music. There are only 3 or 4 ‘epic’ tracks…
