There are (by now) eight movies in the franchise �American Pie�. Four of them starring most of the original cast members: American Pie (1999); American Pie 2 (2001); American Wedding (2003); and American Reunion (2012).
Between the theatrical releases of �Wedding� and �Reunion�, the franchise produced four (terrible) direct-to-dvd sequels where only one actor (Eugene Levy) took part in the original cast: Band Camp (2005); The Naked Mile (2006); Beta House (2007); and American Pie Presents the Book of Love (2009).
