I’ve been busy with this for almost 2 days. A few things about my edit:
1. There is no cover. I couldn’t found a good one and I don’t really know how to make something myself.
2. It’s still in FLAC, just like FilmScoreMedia’s thread.
3. I only cut the music where it really is silent. So there are some tracks with longer titles and runtime.
4. I came up with most of the tracktitles myself, so if you don’t like them you maybe should change them.
5. I hope you enjoy my edit!

cheers
Where do these isolated scores come from? Unless you have buds editing the movie, I wouldn’t know where to start especially as the movie’s not even out yet!

In the case of The Last Jedi this Isolated Score was officially part of the Blu-Ray / Digital Release

My father has a store with movies & music. The isolated score I got from FilmScoreMedia and the movie I got from my father (he pre-ordered it). Then i watched the movie with the music next to it. I came up with tracktitles en tracklenghts and cut it

Just the digital release only:

"Note that the digital Movies Anywhere version (included with purchase) contains a unique isolated score version of the film that is not included on disc."
I’d ask for the original audio demuxed from the digital file using FFMPEG, but I really don’t know if anyone can be trusted do that correctly (and not transcode to MP3 or another AAC transcode…)
Honestly one of my favorite scores of 2017 along with Desplat’s "The Shape of Water" and one of my favorite new Star Wars Williams score since Revenge of the Sith in 2005. I honestly prefer TLJ over TFA (you know, the one that won a Grammy in 2017 and made it to #5 on the Billboard chart, haha).
Hopefully someone out there could make a nice Deluxe Edition or Film Mix utilizing all the sources we have (OST, FYC, Isolated Score), but I’m happy with what we got. 🙂
Very appreciated!
Greetings Tom
Last weekend I went to a screening of the original Star Wars with live orchestra performing the score. They performed the fanfare. It was pretty great.

Madrid? Palacio de los Deportes? All estuve yo tambin…
No – it was in Wellington, New Zealand.
Thanks… But does anyone have the original audio ripped with FFMPEG instead of some shit program that transcodes?
You can do with cuts in FFMPEG… It’s just different… "Or advanced"…
The main problem with Shrine is that any asshole can do one thing and get a lot of credit for it while someone else (with a US IP) can do the same and do even better and get zero credit…
Everyone knows that HDCP is shit.
It’s really not worth it for lossy/lossless formats.
It’s a cheap gimmick that only attained a minority in the FLAC development program.
You can even check out their public github for changes to HDCP and even threads/posts to HydrogenAudio that most don’t care about the HDCP gimmick.
It’s really not that hard to copy the audio from the original stream.
I can see where saying "FFMPEG" in a public forum would cause such strife.
But, rest assured, I am not aiming at you. So you do not have to feel obigated to reply to such a low-standard thread when I am merely asking for thee most resolute standard (as anyone in this communal forum would understand if they saw my name).
This file can be achieved. So why not ask for it?
It is not hard to accomplish.
To you it is.
But, I am not asking you.
Simple as that.

Just out of interest, who ARE you asking??
Any USA resident who created an account with MOVIES ANYWHERE to access such an isolated score that’s exclusive to only the digital download.
And FLAC not being the original format.
And FLAC not being the original format.
So you’re saying that only US residents can access this? The link you put up earlier says:

To me this sounds as if you get access to the Movies Anywhere version when you buy the BluRay. Are you sure that it is not present in any other versions than the US release? Unfortunately the BluRay isn’t released here until middle of April. I WILL be buying it anyway and if i could get my hands on the digital download INCLUDING the isolated score, that would be a HUGE bonus 🙂

A suggestion: why don’t you do a tutorial so the US residents can rip this audio track at the best possible quality? 🙂
I’m not in the US so I can’t do it, but surely someone would benefit from your explanation.
FilmScoreMedia is still great
Well thanks!!
Curious to hear your sparked edition

Someone know how to get the 5.1 mix off of "movies anywhere" isolated score? My computer only shows stereo.
