I want to say thanks … and more…

It’s occurred to me that sometimes I say thanks in the direct line of my request to a poster, whether it’s in the thread, or through private message. I say thanks when I ask, but I sometimes forget to follow up the PM with another thanks.

Of course, I have been a bit bitter since my last attempt at SHARING a post with this community, as it was immediately attacked and reported, and NO, it did not break forum rules.

So, I went and pulled all of my post links down.

A few days ago, one of our members PM’d me for my Back to the Future 30th collection, which was by far the one post I’d made which had the greatest response. When I sent him the links, he said thanks.

I’m grateful that someone still wanted my contribution. I have often tried to provide a post which was a bit unique. Video content, songs which weren’t included in any release, including rare finds which I worked very hard for. I still enjoy listening to my Queen / Howard Blake FLASH GORDON score mashup.

And I’m grateful to one and all over the years who have provided me special links to wonderful scores. I’ll not name you all for there are too many, and I’ve kept my word.

Thank you. I’ve never re-posted a single link.

But I’m grateful still.

Maybe one day, I’ll return my links, and begin posting again. But the vile sickness of RETRIBUTION that finds its way through these threads has got to stop.

Sorry to hear that…I know your feelings man, but I cant agree your deceision. Ive been here for not so much time, but seen some VERY toxic people here, but very nice people too. Just like… Everywhere.
