WHAT IS THIS?

31 tracks that comprise two soundtracks for Techno Soft’s "Herzog" series of games. The first is the original on the NEC PC-8801 computer, and the second is the sequel Zwei for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. Even at this pre-Thunder Force stage, a cursory listen is enough to tell just how on fire these brilliant composers were, very much already composing in the Thunder Force style we know and love.

As always I endeavor to remaster these game soundtracks to a high standard that one would expect from a commercial release. This is the first time I have remastered an NEC PC-88 game and it has come out very well, and sounds just a little less full than the subsequent Mega Drive version.

Anyway, the MD soundtrack is all here and sounds glorious. Enjoy!
