WHAT IS THIS?

20 tracks that comprise the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive edition of the soundtrack of Dragon’s Fury, previously titled Devil’s Crush and released for NEC’s PC Engine console. There are a few composers involved in the soundtrack for this unique, alien-inspired pinball classic but essentially Toshiaki Sakoda composed the music for the original game, Toshiharu Yamanishi arranged it for the Mega Drive, and he and other Techno Soft members added a few OMAKE tracks.

As always I endeavor to remaster these game soundtracks to a high standard that one would expect from a commercial release. It came out as they all have, sounding full and simply more enjoyable. Early on into this project I looked into including the original PC Engine soundtrack, but the source files that are out there (e.g. VGM Rips) produce files that sound quite rough and distorted. I did some testing to try and clean these up but did not reach a point where I felt they were up to the standard I wanted.

Anyway, the MD soundtrack is all here and sounds glorious. Enjoy!
