Oh, poor thing. I don’t see anything wrong with it, technically speaking. I’m going to give that user the "benefit of the doubt" and think he/she genuinely wishes to thank sharers, besides, he/she might also be doing other users a favour because� You know� Bumping threads brings them to the attention of other users.

I’ll have you know that if you want the Staff to do something about "that", we would be retroactively forced to get rid of a good 90-95% of the Download Links’ userbase.

that’s pretty much the extent of people’s vocabularies on the Shrine, along with "do you have this in FLAC?" and "please re-up". I often refer to them as Shrinebots.
