I am not familiar with Budd’s work, and (admittedly) my expectations were set a bit low, but this blew me away 🙂 It helps that, in many places, I was reminded of some of my favorite composers’ work: Goldsmith (esp. his Rambo scores) and Barry (esp. the later Bond scores), as well as being its own distinct work. I look forward to listening to this again and discovering more of Budd’s work. Thank you very much for sharing this and introducing me to this composer!
