This is the Single LP [Picture Disc] version of the ‘IT’ soundtrack. Ordinarily I would have purchased the 2LP version but it was a Christmas present. Apart from the album having a shorter running time, picture discs tend to suffer from a lot of surface noise. So why am I posting this? Well, after listening to the LP twice, the noise profile created by the picture disc (quite by accident) gave me the impression of being in the rain. Much like Georgie in the opening scene. I am by my own admission a coulrophobe, so watching the remake in 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos was teffifying. However, I’m quite nostalgic about the original 1990 film too so I had to watch it. I will get the 2LP eventually, but for now this is a welcome addition. As my fiance said…"I know you love records and hate clowns, so I thought you would like this"…I hope you like it too!
