If you want another Brandenburgs at 392 Hz, I recommend you the Dunedin Consort recording: http://www.linnrecords.com/recording-j-s-bach-six-brandenburg-concertos.aspx It’s one of the best I’ve heard.
The quality of the two performances seems very similar, with both groups doing a terrific job, so I’d have to give the edge to the Egarr/AAM recording on the basis of better sound.

Well, I prefer that type of sound. To me the Dunedin recording has more detail and separation, the sound is clearer. The AAM has too much bass and reverb, the sound is more blurred/soft. I’ve read that in some reviews too:

I suppose it’s a matter of taste.
I will readily agree, however, that in the absence of the Egarr recording, I would certainly be very happy with the Dunedin Consort version.
