WHAT IS THIS?

A classic retro platformer from the golden era of DOS games, Zeliard – developed by Japanese devs Game Arts – was brought over to the west by Sierra in 1990 and remains one of the few Japanese action games to have received widespread western release (even in Europe) at the time. There are a few versions of the soundtrack (Tandy and PC88 also) but the one that I have remastered here is the classic OPL2 FM style from the Sierra version of the game as it is the superior of the three. This certainly isn’t a generic JRPG album, there are a ton of rocking tunes here with memorable melodies and some quieter moments of reflection too.

My goal is to present to the community well-mastered Original Sound Version / OST music of the greatest soundtracks video gaming has to offer, with an emphasis on early/mid-90s obscurities and classics. The VGMs used as a source for this remaster were taken from VGMRips.
