WHAT IS THIS?
A lesser-known PC Engine game, Hyper Wars is a strategy management game with an absolutely rocking soundtrack. Once again, a member of T’s Music provides the awesome riffage included in these tracks, though sadly they’re all far too short. Nevertheless, for those of you that enjoy my other masters or instrumental melodic power rock, just download this already!
My goal is to present to the community well-mastered Original Sound Version / OST music of the greatest soundtracks video gaming has to offer, with an emphasis on early/mid-90s obscurities and classics. The mastering of this OST, like so many of the era, was middy and quiet but actually fairly decent sounding. Now, it is far better of course.
The audio for this soundtrack was taken from a CD image of the game. I have rearranged the tracklist to make for a better listen as an "album", but you could of course re-arrange them and put them back into a CD image if you wished. I decided to remaster everything including the intermissions as they also include more music.
